To open up the road to future growth, Lightweight CarbonSports – maker of the finest carbon race bike
wheels present today – had to widen its client base from the professional sports environment to the fanatic amateur lifestyle market.
Following up on the newly developed brand strategy the product design was fundamentally rethought
and a new naming system put in place.
With the central value ‘handicraft’ at the core the product got a new straight and pure aerodynamic design,
look and feel that celebrate carbon and craftsmanship combined.
The designs of the AUTOBAHN and FERNWEG wheels were acknowledged with a Red Dot product
design award.
