I made this logo a few years ago at a design shop I used to work at. Since moving on I revised the design a bit. The business lays tile and I wanted to capture that in the logo. Looking at some tile I noticed I could make an S shape out of a certain portion. The business's name is Sandstone Tile, so a sand-type color fit well. I thought Cabin worked well as a typeface; it's clean and seemed to have character. The logo itself allowed for stylistic touches in the materials, adding that extra oomph I was looking for. Putting icons near the contact information and social media added a modern touch to the stationery. To show how else the logo could be used I designed a yard sign and an exterior sign.
