Cobat is my reaction to the quarentine and the lockdown. It enables travel and exploration with friends and loved ones through the eyes of a rentable bat drone.

Cobat can be rented from anywhere in the world, providing the user the ability to travel anywhere anytime. The drone offers the ability to fly like a bird (or bat), which is a unique experience compared to a traditional drone 

For the technical solution i was inspired by a bat-drone developed by Cal-Tech scientists

I wanted to ground my naiive project in reality, and figutr out how Cobat could work if it was real. Take the technical solution with a grain of salt.

Cobat uses lidar and cameras to navigate the sky and avoid obsticles. The chip inside Cobat would enable the creation of flight vectors, inspired by the head-motions of the wearer of the VR enabled smartphone, from which the bat is controlled.
