It was hard to send a positive message that sounded authentic during the hardest parts of the strict confinement that Italy endured in March, April and good part of May. Being one of the first occidental countries that was hit by Covid-19, Italians were 'playing by ear', sort of say. Nobody certainly knew for how long they got to remain indoors or when the extraordinary measures were going to end, but they knew one thing: they were in this together. And not only geographically. They proved to each other a sense of solidarity and togetherness that, to some extent, was exported to the world in the forms of rainbow drawings, candid balcony performances, and more importantly the daily applause to express their gratefulness to al the doctors and essential workers.
Discovery Italy wanted to support and amplify that message and the spirit of unity and created the campain #DiscoveryInsieme. These little pieces for their social outlets of DMAX, Nove and Real Time were made for that campaign.
