Tools: Black Round Tip Pen

Technique: I researched different cartoon styles and examples of different comic book layouts. I used a simple anime style as I am not familiar with drawing faces and included different shapes and sizes for the thumbnails. 

Process: I sketched a quick draft with a HB pencil and then used an everyday round tip pen to create the final image. I then used photoshop to clean and crop the image.

Reflection: This was my second attempt at this project. I decided that black and white instead of colour had a cleaner look and I wanted to improve on the style of the cartoon faces. If I were to do this project again, I would add more block black colour for to make the image as a whole more interesting and to draw attention to some of the more dramatic moments of the comic.
