Dave’s favourite hobby was making stories by creating imaginary characters from clouds. He used to write one story each night – of how Cupid roamed the skies with his arrow, merry elephants that travelled jungles and about babies in cradles.
As years passed, he outgrew this hobby and his notebook filled with stories lay forgotten.
One day, he had to move to a new city for his work. He toiled long hours in a strange land where he knew no one. He was feeling extremely low and lonely. He could not sleep at night, no matter what he tried. One such night, as he sat listlessly on the porch, he heard a sound. It seemed familiar, as though someone were calling out to him, but there was no one around.
As the sound persisted, it brought back some memories. He realised it was the clouds calling out to him, luring him back to the fairy tale land he had created in his childhood. The comfort of the familiar place and long lost friends lulled him into a soothing sleep....
