We were required to create a book stand for a desk. The stand design had to fit along with the design ethos of a brand of choice. I chose the French brand Goyard. The geometric pattern lasercut pattern fit perfectly on the sheet metal piece.
The stand consists of two materials. Carbon steel sheet and Oak wood. The minimalistic approach to design is free standing and consists of no joints.
