A cover for one of my favorite books.
I wanted to capture the life cycle metaphorized by an antelope and a tiger.
Their wrapped bodies, despite their dynamism, are in balance. The jin jan ties with their bodies shows that what you can see is the only solution. And hunting, despite its brutality, means harmony.
We don't know whether the tiger is just reaching the antelope with its paw, taking it to the land of evergreen pastures, or falling into the abyss, and the victim dodges its paw at the last moment with a skilful jump.
A fascinating book about nature, life, death and evolution and full of interesting wildlife facts.
