SPY: The Secret World of Espionage

An invitation design for a special event at the Franklin Institute's Marshell Center called SPY: The International world of Espionage. The event featured pieces of espionage technology from the past century, as well as a special appearance by Daniel Craig, the current James Bond.

The concept for the design centered around resistance movements in Europe during WWII. Codes and messages were often written on the inside of hand-rolled cigarettes and passed from member to member. While paying homage to this historical espionage practice, the package is presented in a clean, sophisticated, and modern way using gold foilstamp and black board.

The inside features a pullout in the first row that unfolds to reveal the invitation, while the entire back row pulls out as a drawer for the tickets.
