The Sapling Co-Working & Event Space

The Sapling Co-Working & Event Space is a blank, industrial space for hire in West Perth. The team approached me after securing their building to help form a new brand name, logo design and general look and feel for the business. As The Sapling is a sister company of Fox & Rabbit Premium Flowers, I wanted to subtly link their brand back to their roots, whilst allowing it to also stand alone. The Event Space fit out was designed as a blank, black and white, canvas for any and every type of event, so the brand and signage needed to be simple, yet strong. Though, being a Co-Working space for creatives as well, I wanted to come up with a concept for the logo mark that also visually communicated the beautiful beginnings of new creative ventures. The term ‘sapling’ is used to describe a young plant in its early stages of development. On top of the logo and letter-mark designs, I also collaborated with illustrator Lera Efremova to craft brand pattern for the Co-Working collateral that met the 'curious, marvellous and off-beat' brief.
