Eligible is a contemporary re-telling of pride and prejudice and it carries the humour and mischief of the classic well. I wanted to represent the cast of characters and their complex relationships and so I delved into this graphic picasso-esk illustration with big bold typography and a texture to add that bit of edge to the design. The typography was also reminiscent of a romance game show (which is a feature in this book) and the colour contrast makes the cover pop.
This cover was made in a single sitting as part of my #100bookproject where I design 100 books in as many days.
