ES - Este es un proyecto personal que nació durante la cuarentena. El Palacio Barolo es uno de los edificios más importantes de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y es mi obra arquitectónica favorita de está metrópolis en la cual vivo. Ubicado sobre la Avenida de Mayo, en el barrio de Monserrat. Fue diseñado por el italiano Mario Palanti e inaugurado en 1923.
¿Qué me llevó a crear esta Tarjeta Postal?
Creo que fue la combinación de un amor por las Tarjetas Postales como objeto de colección junto con el hecho de extrañar "El Barolo", dado que es un edificio que suelo ir a visitar con regularidad y por el aislamiento no puedo hacerlo.

El proceso de creación fue inspirado por fotos del edificio tomadas de Google más el estilo de palacio en forma de maqueta del libro The Grand Budapest Hotel de Wes Anderson.

EN - This is a personal project that was born during the quarantine. The Barolo Palace is one of the most important buildings in the City of Buenos Aires and it is my favorite architectural work of this metropolis in which I live. Located on Avenida de Mayo, in the Monserrat neighborhood. It was designed by the Italian Mario Palanti and inaugurated in 1923.
What led me to create this Postcard?
I think it was the combination of a love for Postcards as a collectible together with the fact of missing "El Barolo", since it is a building that I usually visit regularly and because of the isolation I cannot do it.

The creation process was inspired by photos of the building taken from Google plus the palace-style mock-up from Wes Anderson's book The Grand Budapest Hotel.
