Had the opportunity to rebrand one of the perennial powerhouse high schools inside the state of Arkansas recently through my day job at Kanga Studio. This is the largest branding project I have worked on to date and one of the most fulfilling. Since I am a resident here in Arkansas I grew up knowing about Pulaski Academy and over recent years they have become known nationally as the football team that doesn't punt.
With multiple state titles in various sports Pulaski Academy has become a household name at the high school level. They approached our creative team giving us a tall task to create an original Bear head, in this case a Bruin, that represented their school from Pre-K to grade 12. They were one of the many high schools that was using an existing mark by an existing university or professional team and needed something to call their own. So thats what we did.
This project has been super fun to work on, taxing at times, but I can't say it enough how much I loved the way it turned out. Can't wait to see this logo and branding put to work in the coming years. I hope you enjoy viewing this project as much as I had creating it.
