"House of the Sun" is what this 3,055m high mountain is called.
And even though it greeted me with clouds I soon got convinced that this name is just more than fitting perfectly.
It is also the perfect place for stargazing, which is why the Haleakala Observatory including the Daniel K. Inouye solar telescope - one of the largest telescopes in the world - is located right here as well.
