Was originally going to include this image in my 'Portraits of the Rift Valley' series: https://www.behance.net/gallery/100295903/Maasai-Portraits-from-the-Rift-Valley 

However as those photographs are very simple but powerful natural portraits, this composite artwork seemed quite at odds with those, so have decided to use it as a starting point to head up a new series.

The additional elements were shot out on location, zebra print on the tribesman torso, giraffe print on the face, acacia trees in the haired vulture flying etc.

As yet I'm undecided which direction this personal series will take, more African themes composite portraits or portraits from other countries/cultures.

Time will tell...
