Current shopper seeks a face lift. A lighter, modern take to the beautiful, though dark look of the current shoppers.
The message is lost from afar with bronze foil of logo on dark embossed chocolate brown bag. Though countless
bags were drafted and some produced, this project is still on-going. These are my favorite drafts.
Embossed logo placement updated for a modern take on 200gsm C1S matte lamination paper. Left bag
(first image and detail above) with linen texture (smooth to touch). Wide grosgrain ribbon designed with
length comfortable in hand and worn on shoulder. Right bag (first image) 2 color shopper, chocolate brown
on side gusset and flood on inside seamlessly. Waxed double length cotton cord straps of current shopper.
A transition from the smooth coated feel of the matte lamination of bags above resulted in toothy art paper
as shown above. These papers felt so gorgeous, and as a fine artist I would love to have these papers to draw
on. Debossed matte foiled logo on warm grey paper. The project did not go any farther than the raw construction
of the bags. The intent for handles were fine waxed cotton cord (lower size grade than above design) with the
look and feel of leather and a flat version of this cord, three times as wide.
