Infographics
Our solar system is very small comparing to the immensity of the Milky Way, but endless to the human eye. It includes planets, satellites, comets and other celestial bodies that gravitate towards a star aged about five billion years: the Sun.
It is known to us that eight planets take part of our solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Pluto is now considered a dwarf planet, just like: Ceres, Haumea, Makemake and Éris. Astronomy is always in development, discovering and re-discovering celestial bodies, which turns it into a challenge and therefore arouses so much interest. That was the reason, and also for the graphic variety that it allows, the chosen theme for this project.

From a personal perspective and through a web and bibliographic search, this poster infographics tell us about space, more specifically on the solar system, representing the planets and respective satellites it includes.

Da imensidão da via láctea pouco representa, porém o nosso sistema solar é para o olhar humano infindável. Deste fazem parte os planetas, satélites, cometas e outros corpos celestes que gravitam em torno de uma estrela com cerca de cinco biliões de anos: o Sol. É do nosso conhecimento até à data que do nosso sistema solar fazem parte oito planetas: Mercúrio, Vênus, Terra, Marte, Júpiter, Saturno, Urano e Netuno. Plutão, aqui representado, é agora considerado um planeta anão, ao qual se juntaram em categoria: Ceres, Haumea, Makemake e Éris. A astronomia está sempre em desenvolvimento, com a categorização e descoberta de novos corpos celestes, o que faz dela um desafio e por isso desperta tanto interesse. Foi por essa razão e pela variedade gráfica que nos permite, o tema escolhido para este projeto.
De âmbito pessoal e através de uma pesquisa web e bibliográfica, foi realizada esta infografia em formato poster sobre o espaço, mais específicamente sobre o sistema solar, representando os planetas e respectivos satélites que dele fazem parte.
