Design a cardboard HDB flat with sticker pack
Client: NEX Singapore
NEX Singapore has decided to create a family-friendly #stayhome activity to celebrate our nation’s birthday - a HDB cardboard cutout! I was tasked to design the cardboard house inspired by ByMoly (https://www.bymoly.sg/anbox-myhouse) The HDB flat is iconically Singapore and it's where many of us have spent much time playing, resting, and socialising. It is where people gather, regardless of race, language, or religion.
I started with a paper prototype to test the cut out's and pop up elements of the house. I also could visualize the placement of the different illustrated elements like the HDB windows, furniture and Singapore related elements.
We did a photo shoot with the first sample of the HDB house
I also designed the instructions that came with the house
The stickers are printed on 2 A3 pieces for children to decorate their own HDB house
I drew the illustrations to display the use of the house
I also animated the first introduction to NEX's special Stay-Home National Day kit posted on NEX SIngapore's Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/p/CDiPA_WnJFW/)
