《我们的时代——广东时代美术馆的诞生》由朱晔、张丹主编，江苏凤凰美术出版社出版，记录了广东时代美术馆从建馆至今的历程。
在本书中，写作者/叙述者分别有时代地产员工、时代美术馆员工、本书主编及外部受访人这几个不同的身份，为了做出区别，我们在页面的两侧用时代红、美术馆黄、黑色和灰色四种不同颜色的短横线作为标示，来对应当前文本内容的作者身份。以此建立起叙述者身份和叙述内容的对应关系。
另外，我们也将这个短横线当作一个符号、一个暗号，它会紧随每个段落的起始出现，作为一本文字量大，以文本为主的书籍，我们希望通过这个设计展示出文本段落的图文节奏，暗示文本内容的轻重，提示读者阅读的节奏。通过这个设计，我们很容易能发现，文本内容的轻重似乎也和文本段落的长短对应：简单轻松的访谈聊天，段落较短，短横线的间距就越紧凑；而复杂且具有深度的话题，文本段落就会很长，横线的间距就越宽松。

Our Time—Times Museum is edited by Zhu Ye and Zhang Dan, published by Jiangsu Phoenix Art Publishing House, and it’s where the journey of the Guangdong Time Art Museum is recorded from its establishment till now.
In this book, the writers/narrators have a couple of different identities of the staff of the Time real estate, the staff of the Time Art Museum, editors of the book and interviewees from the outside. To distinguish those identities, we used short lines of 4 different colors, which are the Time red, the museum yellow, black and grey, on both sides of the pages to mark and match with the writer’s identity for the present text content. In this way, the relationship between the narrators and the narrative content is built.
In this book, the writers/narrators have a couple of different identities of the staff of the Time real estate, the staff of the Time Art Museum, editors of the book and interviewees from the outside. To distinguish those identities, we used short lines of 4 different colors, which are the Time red, the museum yellow, black and grey, on both sides of the pages to mark and match with the writer’s identity for the present text content. In this way, the relationship between the narrators and the narrative content is built.
Additionally, we also take the short lines as a symbol and a signal which closely follows the beginning of each paragraph. As a book with a large amount of words and a book with text being the main body, hopefully the rhythm of its image&text can be shown through our design, a design that will not only implies the importance of the text but also makes the readers notice the reading rhythm. Through this design, we easily spotted the relations between the importance of the text and the length of the it: a simple and delightful interview conversation usually shows up in a short paragraph, which makes the space between the short lines narrow; while a topic of complexity and depth usually comes with a long text which makes the space between the short lines more loose.
