BRIEF:

Substack is a online publishing platform for independent writers. For their 2020 Fellowship for Independent Writers program, they requested an illustration for their fellowship  announcement marketing. 

SOLUTION:

We chose an illustrated a fountain pen placed on a white page as if it had just been used to handwrite the program title, creating a sense of organic tactility.

RESULTS:

The increased number of Fellowship applications doubled the Fellowship program growth.
