Named after the ancient Roman goddess of beauty.

The moniker of Venus was often attached to figures as a way of making the subject acceptable for admiration, contemplation, and appreciating a platonic idea of beauty.
But, behind this facade is a world of storms and infernos unleashing hell.
Trying to use this as an inspiration, with orange-red lighting setup to emulate the warmer temperature of Venus and rear curtain sync to give her a soft and sensuous glow, nestled within a intentional soft focus composition trying to show gender expectations and the implications on the act of looking, from that of an ideal woman.
Some identies are masculine, some feminine and plenty of in between, using makeup and costumes, lights and in camera techniques to emulate the same but with a little glam to it.
