Wedding Collateral Set

Overview: For my own wedding, I decided to create my own collateral including invitations, thank you cards, escort cards, and more.

Problem: The theme and designs needed to reflect our common interests while giving off a sense of elegance for our wedding day.

Solution: Upon some self-reflection, we came to the conclusion that a fantasy forest theme would fit us perfectly. Both of us enjoy nature and taking walks through the forested areas of Fort Harrison State Park, which so happened to be our venue as well; we also both enjoy fantasy books, games and movies. I decided on using winding, black trees draped in crystals as centerpieces and a mystical teal color as the prominent color in the tri-color scheme. Throughout my designs, I mainly drew inspiration from a beautiful crystal forest in a favorite video game of mine. To mirror our centerpieces, I designed my collateral using a teal watercolor background for a shimmering look and placed black branches around the edges to create a forest-like feel as well as create a strong contrast with the background. I chose to use Palace Script ITC as my primary font because of its elegant and romantic curves and chose Eras Light to compliment it due to its delicate appearance.
