The immersive 3D show "I am the True Vine" was created to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Abrau-Durso wine house. In this work I explored the sacred connection between winemaking and art, the energy hidden in wine, and the magic of creativity.
The performance consists of 8 parts. It's an artistic interpretation of the theme of the birth of wine through the history of the Russian wine house "Abrau-Durso".
The main character of the show is a grapevine, which appears in the video content and at the same time is supplemented with decorations.
Installation. The area of the room is 160 m2.
One of the main goals was to break the rectangular geometry of the hall and ensure the most comfortable viewing angle from all points of the hall. As a solution we chose a non-standard screen shape and cladding the hall columns with LED screens. The central installation symbolizes the image of the True Vine. Tree branches cover the entire area of the ceiling, and there are decorative elements with built-in LED strip. The mirrored floor creates the effect of expanding the space.
