Emotional Response Task
We are given a task to select a design, video, game or application that evokes a negative response and compare it against a positive one.

Then we are to analyze what are the elements or features that makes us feel this way?

After that we are to recreate the mockup/animatic/prototype of the selected media with the recommended solutions in order to improve these problems.
Negative Response

Negative aspects:
1. There are too much wording or information used that it covers the actual pictures of the product.
2. The words are difficult to read as it overlaps with the coloured pictures at the background.
3. The texts were red gradient coloured and is outlined with black colour which makes it too busy with the already textured and coloured background.
4. The title is difficult to read as the colour is on the lighter side that the background pictures unintentionally dissolves a part of the information.
5. It would be better if the actual picture is put in different space and not as a background so we can see it clearly as most of us human process information based on visuals.
6. Unnecessary textured filter(cracked glass texture) added in front of the product pictures, as if the pictures and the wordings are not enough to make the design look busy.
Positive Response

Positive Aspects:
1. The typography were clear and very readable. Every text were put on top of a solid colour where the contrast between the background and the text are clear. They are not overlapped with any other busy or textured design which made it readable.
2. The different types of typography used in the design compliments each other.
3. As the colour of the background of the information below are actually used on the product title, which it can help to harmonize the colours in the design.
4. The colours used are complimentary to the picture of the product.
5. Icons were used instead of wordings "Bed icon" represents the bedrooms and the "Bathtub icon" represents the bathroom.
6. The picture of the product can be clearly seen as it is not covered by anything designs.
7. The divisions of the information are clear, as you can see the define line between each information conveyed.

Recreation Process
First a picture of a terrace house is drawn as it is the main product. And then I added only necessary information this includes the price, the location, the type of the house and the house's important features. Made sure the information are clear and easy to read. Recognizable icons are made to replace the wordings, each representing the features and numbers beside it to show the amount of the house features. After that added the some divisions to divide the spaces clearly.  Lastly colours are added to the house to give a little pop of colours.
