Hi Guys, I was invited by the amazing team from Belight software to test their vector app Amadine. Loved the idea as I'm not used to work with vector illustrations, my work is usually made with pixel brushes (even when they look like vectors!)
What I love the most about vector art is the possibility of making something simple
yet fun. So I've created this little Rock metal plant. We always hear "Rock is dead".
I can say it is not, as long as we take care of the seeds of metal! \m/
The user interface is really friendly. If you use Adobe Illustrator, you'll have no trouble working with Amadine. Actually it is not so heavy as Illustrator, it will use much less memory.
My main difficulty was to work with the brushes and the Wacom Cintiq. The software works fine with it but it is different from other apps that I use, like Adobe Fresco, Photoshop and Illustrator. But it is wasn't the software's fault. The problem was that I was expecting the same experience and, of course, it was different.
But the learning curve is really fast with Amadine, so in just a few minutes I was working really naturally with the software brushes.
So i can assure you that Amadine is a great vector app and it can easily be part of your workflow!
