This design project was launched within a framework of production development of ATLANT Company.
It was necessary to develop a holistic design covering four new yet functionally different washing machines.

At the early stages of design planning (that was 2013), the modern washing machines of competitors and market leaders were scrutinized to apprehend the principles of building their model ranges, find technological design solutions and identify design trends in the specific home appliances.

Based on the technical assignment and research, the design concepts were elaborated to define the style of new washing machines, their functionality and shaping solutions in line with design trends.
Than the principal variant of the design was defined in the discussion and approval process. It was used as a basis for development of the entire line-up.
UI development focused on user-friendly washer control. E.g. all the value classes of the line-up ensure settings from left to right. Designation of buttons and indications by both inscriptions and brand new icons makes the interface graphics intuitive and user-friendly.
As a result of sophisticated design process two major value classes of the line-up have seen the light.
The line-up could host up to four value classes. The Entry model has the least set of functional features at the same time having the lowest price tag.
Standard model enables the user to adjust washing temperature and spin speed manually and offers extended set of additional options.
Standard+ slightly differs by some features yet showing significant difference in the design of certain elements. This washing machine has a distinctive and convenient dial knob with LED indication.

Additional adjustment of the washing mode is performed using the touch-buttons. The hatch door is equipped with a lock with no pull lever – pull the door and it opens.
Comfort class offers the maximum of possible functionality. The control of additional options is located entirely in the touch screen area. The hatch door has double glass.
For a wider range of customers the line-up can offer a whole range of individual color combinations and embodiment.
These washing machines are produced by ATLANT Inc and in the market.
