Overview
The Premium Cornish Hen site is one of a series of tile-driven, Pinterest-style recipe sites built on a lightweight CMS I developed using PHP, MySQL, and CodeIgniter. The codebase follows MVC conventions, making it easy to expand and repurpose. The site follows responsive web design principles, so it adapts nicely to mobile devices in a variety of sizes and orientations.
The navigation view presents the user with an array of tiles, each representing a recipe.
After selecting a tile from the navigation view, visitors are taken to a recipe page, which presents the recipe itself, along with social sharing options.
