After the few minutes I spent with Surfboard Shaper Anton Butler I can't build a surfboard but I was able to learn a lot from him. So much love for detail, with which Anton dedicates himself to his surfboards, I would like to find again in my photography one day. The absolute ease with which the local from Woodstock in Cape Town masters his tools, the precision with which he builds perfectly symmetrical surfboards and above all the composure with which he meets people have left a deep impression on me. As a stranger I entered his shop and he unconditionally showed me his work and a few days later he also gave me this insight.
