Solo Exhibition at Hin Bus Depot Gallery Penang, Malaysia 17 Jan-9 Feb 2020

Nature has never wanted anything from human beings. In contrary, our endless greed and desires to amass goods and to consume are destroying our mother nature! Trees are crucially important in our ecosystem. Trees provide oxygen, improve air quality, conserve water, preserve soil, and support wildlife. Humans rely on the oxygen provided by the trees to survive. However, we often treat them with thoughtless disregard.
This Installation Art by Tan Lay Heong aims to convey a powerful message about environmental degradation due to human actions, through sarcasm. Should human beings continue to invade nature through their enormous consumption, they will soon find the Mother Earth disappearing into their endless greed.
