The London Summer Event Show has a different summer-related theme each year. This year’s show was inspired by the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, with the main space being transformed into the bustling streets of Japan’s capital city, the second room to be themed around the Olympic Village and lastly, a tranquil Sakura room, surrounded by cherry blossoms.

Below, the invitations were created in the style of a Japanese Negajo New Year Card, complete with a Kakuro puzzle for the guest to complete to be entered into a prize draw.

Each guest was given a hand-lettered Happy New Year greeting, inserted into a pocket-sized notebook to take away after the show.
