TypeFaces 2014 is a calendar depicting faces in typefaces. It started as a student project where the brief required to design a 7 page calendar, two months per page and a cover, showing different faces using only typographic forms. To represent the faces negative space between letters and in the counters is used, recognizing that white space is just as important as the black of the letters.
Every page except for the cover contains a hidden face. A short description of the type is added, while a pangram (a sentence that contains all the letters of the alphabet) shows the two current months as well as some of the types characters. Can you recognize all of the TypeFaces?
The calendar was later issued in a limited number by the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana and was admitted to the 6th Biennale of Slovene Visual Communications.
