To face the challenge of supporting a series of indie concerts that hold from experimental house to chillout, travelling through hard rock, pop tendencies, hiphop, tropical and classic rock some in English and other in Portuguese, we built a support system that would hold these ideas in the same guidelines - an impossible star that would collapse into customizable shapes made into a vortex with the same number of points as the number of events in the series. An iconic and simple relationship that would be appropriate to accommodate as many languages as needed to portray the feel and attitude of the bands in display on the proper date.
These posters were developed over the course of half a year, mainly thought for digital promotion in which an appropriate number of collateral was developed for each one - Facebook promotion, Tumblr gifs, web items and the obvious need for tickets which would at first serve as both a printed object and a web item that would be released days after the official poster to work as a reminder for the event.
We let the experimental feeling flow as much as an improv session on stage, a risk took with caution and a tremendous amount of guts.
