Leaping into the wild, rugged waters off the south coast of Western Australia is a wonderful anti-dote to what ails you. But the tension between trying to have fun and the treachery of the often lethal waters is hard to balance. Standing on a massive lump of rock feeling the thunder of the ocean smashing against the earth is captivating and terrifying–better than the best of Nordic Noir. 

The relief heading off the beach is palpable.
