UNIQLO X Roots: Humidifier

Treading in between the fine lines of story-telling, branding, and product design, 'Humidifier' is conceived as a conceptual brand for UNIQLO, based on their innovative clothing technology AIRism. It is presented as a design showcase in SingaPlural 2017 festival.
AIRism, a fabric technology by UNIQLO, is known for their quick evaporation feature. We reimagined this feature as a humidifying process, and conceptualised an entirely new product brand called 'Humidifier' with UNIQLO Singapore.
The exhibition space is divided into branding, and product design story paths. The product story adopts a raw, work-in-progress presentation format on how the 'Humidifier' is conceptualised and turned into physical prototypes, with a few working units on display.
