Neighborhood Park Redesign
The goal: To add a sustainability and/or accessibility feature to an existing park.
Sustainability: The 'Green' trash system on the bottom left serves as an efficient, non-disruptive method of trash-collecting for this large area that is prone to litter with the large amount of visitants.
Accessibility: The cement benches on the left serve as seating in the main play area of the park, allowing for supervision and convenience.
Other: Recoloring the play surface, adding shapes for an educational element, and brightening up the cement slides appeal to the young demographic of the area, such as the students of the elementary school nearby.
