It's the 20's again and space agencies are sending missions to Mars! Perseverance and Ingenuity launched July 30th, 2020 and I created these illustrations to celebrate! I wanted to envision what Mars fashion would look like during an Art Deco era. The looks are based on 1920s silhouettes and I also took inspiration from the works of graphic artists Erté and Georges Lepape. Figures sketched in Procreate. Color and background completed in Photoshop. Graphic design elements and repeat prints created in Illustrator.
