Bennesbeh Labokra Chou is one of two Ziad Rahbani classics I took part in restoring. The footage filmed was never meant for commercial consumption, however, restoring these classics, which play an essential role in Millenials and all their predecessors' lives'.
Ziad Rahbani has previously created audio versions of these plays, heard, memorized, and impacted the lives of the Lebanese immensely—restoring this play meant to take back the lovers of these plays to the late seventies for adding a visual to the audio.
As Ziad is one of the most prominent Lebanese storyteller alive, I had the pleasure of going over the play several times, dissecting and outlining the chapters. This experience was a deep dive of the Lebanese culture, an overview of how Lebanese people were like in 1975.
