Whilst working for Putsch Architectual Glass I was involved with the design and creation of a number of bespoke and architectual fused glass panels for this company and their clients within the UK
Entrance Screen - Private residence
This set of 7 curved fused glass panels is set into a curved oak frame to create a stunning entrance hall/screen. The panels were first created from layers of glass and fused in the kiln before being heated again and slumped into a special curved mould, with a corresponding plain glass sheet. Once cooled, these panels (over 2 meters in length) were laminated together using a special technique developed by Putsch to create a safe and sturdy unit ready to be framed in the client's home.
