A personal project to write a fitting theme for the Assassins Creed Valhalla Trailer. I stripped out the original track and unfortunately lost all sound effects, meaning that when recomposing, not only did I have to match the tempo of the original edit, but also had to source and insert some of the essential sound effects.
The project was scored entirely on the Korg Wavestate Synthesizer and arranged, mixed and mastered in Ableton Live. The Korg Wavestate was chosen because of its selection of sampled instruments allowing for the strings, drums and horns to be arranged and create the orchestration necessary for the piece. The vocal is a sample taken from a Nordic singer to give it the Valhalla feel.
