Photography is Truth
An investigation into the truth behind photography
The idea that the images which a camera captures are absolute has, in recent years been put to question. With the advent of the digital era giving photographers an ability to manipulate his/her images how can we be sure of what we see in a photograph? What precedents were there for questioning the truth of photography prior to the digital era? Photography is Truth endeavours to explore these questions.
To contrast the mostly black and white images within the book a strong yellow stock has been used to create a clear distinction between sections. The yellow section dividers have been made proportionately smaller than the rest of the pages, allowing the reader to get a sense of their position within the book whilst also dividing sections clearly. The book has been perfect bound by hand to allow for the smaller section dividers.
