Sava Marinkovic is a musician born on January 29th, 1991 in Pancevo (Serbia). His views on music are abstract, based on free improvisation, leisure and free music. He is spreading his philosophy of music through every live performance. In the beginning of his solo career, he has collaborated with many musicians like Melinda Ligeti, Sergi Boal, Aleksandra Dokic, Iahonnes, Norman Baiocchi. His solo career is based on an experimental approach to ambient music, free improvisation and minimalism. After many collaborations, Sava has started to work on his first solo album „Nowhere Near“ which is released by the creative label and netlabel Acustronica, based near Perugia (Italy).
“Nowhere Near” is a debut album. It’s a short story. Simple, slow and quiet album, which is trying to express one’s soul. It is a music experiment, consisted of five songs, from the clear blue ambient, to the dark and melancholy electronic emotions. The guests on this album are: Melinda Ligeti (vocal, and piano parts), Nikola Kato (piano parts), Harry Pannon (rhythm parts), Dragan Gojic (synth parts). Mixing engineer: Slobodan Rekovic.
