Calle de Hoog
Calle de Hoog is a Dutch scenographer: a designer of sets, costumes and light for theatre performances. Her work can be described as playful, witty, bold and colorful. We developed a visual identity and a new website, where her work comes into his own.
The identity consists of a logosystem that's built from simple, geometrical shapes in a duotone color palette. The shapes can be converted into Calle's initials, her (full) name and an abstract, dynamic pattern. Both the shapes as the color contrasts symbolizes her way of thinking and signature as a designer.
The website shows both a portfolio and a glimpse in Calle's universe, where her fascination for nature vs culture is displayed. In this way the work ánd the artist behind the work, is given a prominent place.
