Chongqing is the only city I have been to that can satisfy my curiosity

A good sense of direction is one of the basic skills of a photographer. In the process of urban exploration, I need to rely on it to remember different routes. I have visited several Chinese cities, including Beijing, Qingdao, Gansu, Suzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xiamen, and Chongqing. Except for Chongqing, the maps of other cities basically have their rules to follow. Through the landmark buildings or routes, I can remember most of the things in a city and wherever I am, I have clear directions.

Once I have a relatively clear recognition of a city map, I found that it would deprive of my sense of curiosity. Chongqing is just the opposite. Having visited Chongqing several times, I originally wanted to memorize its map, but its up-and-down buildings and traffic made it difficult for me to remember, so I simply gave up.  During my recent trip to Chongqing (May 2020), I found that this kind of familiar and unfamiliar feeling easily arouses my curious senses and allows me to indulge in the memory of "chaos". It is a brand new experience for me every time.

It's like a very attractive half-veiled dancer. I don't think I need to know her behind the veil. Instead, all I would like to prefer is to keep my fantasy and express with a few scattered images.
