The Future is Here
Citroën has a great brand history. The company evolved its visual identity over time, but in 2020, a rebranding wave emerged, which soon became a trend in the automotive industry. The growing popularity of electric motors, car visualisation stepped
in a new age. Car emblems required a clear and minimalistic direction that is easy to use in any medium in any size. BMW, Volkswagen, and Toyota, three of the most well-known car brand were the firsts that announced graphical simplification
on their visual identity.

Our team created a rebranding concept for Citroën that follows the current design trends. The project includes an emblem modernisation and a website redesign. The new emblem keeps the original idea which symbolises a chevron-shaped gear,
but we combined it with the design of car bumpers. The new UI language reflects premium quality, just as future car models. Also, the website is switchable between dark and light mode.
