Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ascended to the sky, after his night journey from the Sacred Mosque to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Palestine, which was previously known as
(Bayt Al-Maqdis) and the first time it was called the Al-Aqsa Mosque was in the verse: “Glory to Him who journeyed His servant by night, from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We have blessed” [The Night Journey “Al-Israa” -1], and when Abu Jahl heard that, he gathered the infidels and asked the most knowledgeable person of the Holy Mosque to debate the Prophet (PBUH), they asked him to describe it, so the mosque was raised to the Messenger of God (PBUH), from his seat so he looked at it as one of us looking to his house, and he described it with specific details to them.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is the first of the two Qiblah and the third of the two holy mosques.

Before the Islamic conquest, the city of Jerusalem was under the rule of the Byzantine province and after it for the Sassanid conquest in 614, Then it was looted and destroyed, and in the month of Shawwal of the sixteenth year of Hijra in 637, Omar Bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, opened Jerusalem and prayed in the mihrab of David’s like a prayer of greeting, then the night passed, and dawn came, so the caller of prayers "Muazin" performed the call to the dawn prayer, which was the first time that the call to prayer is given in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem remained under the rule of Muslims for five centuries, and during the rule of the Obeidians to the Levant, Jerusalem fell under the control of the Crusaders, and it stayed under their control for ninety years, and in 1187 Salahuddin arrived to the city of Jerusalem, and he camped in front of its northern and northwestern walls, and was able to defeat them in The Battle of Hattin on Saturday 25 Rabi` Al Thani 583 AH in 4 July 1187.

Theodore Herzl is considered the real founder of the so-called "state of Israel". Herzl formed the Zionist organization, encouraged Jewish immigration to Palestine in an attempt to form a Jewish state, and called for a Basel conference in Switzerland that included representatives of Judaism in Europe, and was already held in 1897, Herzl was elected to be the president of that conference, then president of the Zionist Organization, and on the other hand, he began the scheme of displacing the Palestinians and uprooting them from their lands.

On November 2, 1917, the British government issued the Balfour Declaration, which was a public statement to declare the support for the establishment of a “national homeland for the Jewish people” in Palestine, and in 1948 it was announced that the “State of Israel” would be established on the land of Palestine after the defeat of Arab armies in Nakba war, due to the support of Western countries, and adopted Jewish settlement is a philosophy based on the seizure of Palestinian lands, after expelling its original inhabitants on the pretext of alleged religious and historical claims.

Over the years, the Zionists continued to gradually strip the Palestinian lands, increase the Zionist settlements, impose a blockade on parts thereof, exorbitant taxes on property, restrict movement with checkpoints, they used violence and internationally prohibited weapons, they repeated invasions of the Palestinian territories and the almost daily storming the Al Aqsa Mosque, and launched consecutive wars on Gaza Strip, killing the young, old and children without mercy or humanity.

With the general increasing situation in the camps, the unemployment spread, the national feeling and the daily repression practiced by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinians were worsened, on December 8, 1987, spontaneous Palestinian popular protests erupted, after which hundreds of Palestinian martyrs killed, and this popular revolution was called the first Palestinian Intifada or uprising of stones. The second Palestinian Intifada, or Al-Aqsa Intifada, started on September 28, 2000, and demonstrations and protests spread around the world against repressive practices and Israeli violence in Palestine.

Sheikh of the Mujahideen (Ahmed Yassin) devoted his life to resisting the Israeli occupation forces, who arrested him in 1989 and forced to release him in 1997 in a negotiation deal, he continued his struggle despite the house arrest, on the contrary, it strengthened him further.
He once said: “It is not possible in any way to recognize Israel as it usurps our land, our rights, our homeland, and our history.”
After the dawn prayer on Monday, 22 March 2004, Israeli occupation warplanes assassinated Sheikh Yassin with three missiles in a process supervised by Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, to flutter his pure spirit to heaven with the previous martyrs.
