7 Natural Wonders Argentina

7 Maravillas Argentinas is an online campaign allowing the Argentinian population to nominate, vote and select the 7 natural wonders in Argentina. The campaign is centered around the website www.7mar.com.ar which serves as a voting platform.
The campaign was running for 1 entire year with various voting stages reflected in different designs and functions of the website. On the 7th of May 2019 the winners were announced in a event open to the national press and the representatives of the nominated natural wonders.

About the brand

In this project we didn't create a new identity from scratch, we had to deliver a logo adaptation that gave continuity to the world campaign primary logo while adding minor changes that give a more contemporary look. To achieve that we decided to keep the preexisting structure of the logo simplifying a few elements, giving it a flat look for better understanding and creating a few additional elements to complement the new logo and giving it a more friendly look.

Mandatory
- The logo had to have the Argentinian flag with all its colors. 
- It was important to apply the same green color, used in the previous campaign about the New 7 Natural Wonders of the World. 
- The logo had to have, no matter how large the text was, the entirety of the name in Spanish, and also was vital to add the name of the primary brand underneath it.


The editorial & content department did extraordinary research about the typology of the different landscapes in the Argentinian territory, dividing it into 7 categories, which was very important to the first 2 stages of the voting process. We set different icons and colors to identify as clearly as possible each one of the types of landscapes. These seven colors were also used to create a graphic element to complement the brand.
Because it was expected to have a high traffic of users in the nomination, voting, and election stage, I was asked to develop responsive website prototype, with a very simple look, without complex animations, and using as a primary resource, a grid of variables number of columns,  always in the index page.

To identify each stage of the voting campaign, it was important to set 3 different icons to communicate the difference between the Nomination, Voting, and Election stage.


It was an amazing journey to be part of this challenging project, alongside this wonderful and talented team, and for that, I will be always thankful.
