DAY OF THE YEAR
A short film which I am producing that will premiere in January as part of the Utah Repertory Theater Company's 2014 season. A coming-of-age story about three friends ending their last summer as college students. Each has different hopes from the season's final party but no one has anyone else's interest at heart. The clips below are excerpts from a work in progress.
Director of Photography: Trevor Macdonald; Sound Mixer: Ryan Pedersen.
In this scene Chance accuses Garrett of trying to steal Tahnee away from him. They two begin to fight and Ben gets caught up in the middle of it. The argument flares up when Chance discovers his car has been towed. Their fight is interrupted by the arrival for Tahnee's cocky friends. 2013.

Running time: 2:21.

Chance finally has the courage to talk to Tahnee. He discovers that she is nothing like the fantasy girl he created in his head and he begins to regret the way he has treated his friends. 2013.
Credits: producer.
Running time: 1:31.

BACKSTAGE BYU
This Telly-winning documentary series takes you behind the scenes and shows you what it takes to run a major university. The entire series can be seen on BYUtv or on their website. I produced nine segments for season one.
This segment was part of the Bronze Telly Award winning episode of Backstage BYU on BYUtv. A look at the ROTC students who man the iconic cannon that fires after each home touchdown in LaVell Edwards Stadium. 2012.
Credits: field producer, cinematographer, editor, colorist.
Running time: 6:01.

BEEHIVE STORIES
Everyone in Utah has a story and we set out to prove it one county at a time. This Emmy-winning documentary series is broadcast frequently on KBYU-11 and features a brief look at one person from each of Utah's 29 counties. The two episodes included here were field produced by me and the series is produced overall by Brad Barber. To see the episodes I worked on in a non-producer role, please visit www.beehivestories.com. They include Garfield County, Daggett County, and Iron County.
As we produced more episodes of Beehive Stories we wanted to hear from more women. So I sought out one of the highest profile women in the state–the only to have ever served as governor. After tracking down her information, I personally contacted Governor Walker and she agreed to the interview. 2011.
Credits: field producer, director, camera operator.
Running time: 6:08.

When I began doing Beehive Stories I knew I wanted to find someone connected to the Great Salt Lake. After a heap of research and asking around, I came in contact with Todd Stimpson. Todd works on the west end of the lake for two days at a time by himself monitoring the evaporation pools. He is not the most talkative person but the vast horizons are plenty large enough to fill in when he's not speaking. 2010.

Running time: 6:32.
