This novel depicts the depth and complexity of female friendships. They love each other but also jealous, and they compete for a lifetime.
At the same time, there are deeper contradictions: the background is based on after the 2nd WW, changes of the country or the revolution of classes, female awakening and independence.  I focus on the youngest female friendships, they are rosy, they are so intense, also what makes them toxic. 
I try to depict the emotional description and the twisted feelings and relationships between characters with textures. And I set a brownness tone to indicate the time of the novels.
