Sydney - Rainfredrick
Music Video
This is the production design for the music video "Sydney" I made for the artist Rainfredrick. This was a very special project for me and my crew. The artist wanted something very pure, involving nature and with a very organic feel to it. The song is about a father trying to reach his daughter conceptually, giving he cannot contact her in the real world.
The production design was inspired in the style of Andrei Tarkovski movies mainly, along with a more conceptual way of portraying childhood and innocence with the paper ships we built. I was looking for a contrast between these two elements to help me tell the visual narrative we were going for.
