This is the first book of its kind in Lithuania, made by women, about women. The book tells the stories of 100 important female figures in Lithuania, both contemporary and historical, and is illustrated exclusively by female Lithuanian artists.
The book has colourful, child-friendly and eye-catching illustrations portraying historic figures and present day female heroes and is intended to inspire Lithuanian girls to be confident, brave and follow their dreams.
I illustrated several empowering stories, including those of: an olympic high jump champion, the first Lithuanian female judge, a humanitarian activist, the first Lithuanian female doctor, an equilibrist and a pioneer of circus culture in Lithuania, and a Lithuanian intelligence agent and freedom fighter.
